The lodge is a unique blend of old world and a refined style of accommodation for the very discerning traveler. We have the latest communication facilities available to our guests. Our lodge totally conforms with the North Shore City Council and the New Zealand Government very stringent fire safety regulations. Bayswater Point Lodge offers a relaxed style of accommodation, with spacious gardens, private access to the foreshore of Ngtaringa Bay and use of a row boat, and superb views from the upstairs balcony.

4 King/Queen with bathrooms. Two suites have private entry onto harbour balcony. All bathrooms have top class European fittings, including a clawfooted deep bath tub in one suite.

Room Description:

This stately 90 year old mansion offers accommodation in four luxurious bedrooms, all with their own fully tiled and modern en-suites bathroom and one with its own traditional claw-foot bath. Two have their own doors opening up on to the large balcony. Two bedrooms are named appropriately after the volcanic cones of Auckland, visible from each suite, one Norwood after the leafy Norwood road, and the other after Ngtaringa Bay, which it overlooks.

The Victoria Room: (named after Mount Victoria, in Devonport) which you can see from the room. The Victoria has a King sized bed where you can lie in bed and look out at night to the sky tower and all the lights of Auckland city. This room has doors that open out onto the balcony. The en-suite has a bath and shower all in tiles, with the latest in shower fixtures. Per night $195.00.

The Albert Room: (named after Mt. Albert, across the Harbour in Auckland City which you can see), this has its own fully tiled en-suite bathroom with a large claw-foot bath. It also has a shower with all the latest fixtures. This room has comfortable chairs and a writing desk, and has spectacular views of the city, and opens onto the Harbour view balcony. Per night $195.00.

The Norwood Room:. this room is very large with a super king sized bed, which can be made into two large single beds. Once again the en-suite bathroom is all tiled and everything you will need in them. Per night $175.00.

The Ngataringa Room: This room is slightly smaller than the other rooms, but still has all the top class amenities and a queen size bed. The en-suite bathroom is all white tiled, and has all amenities. Per night $165.00.

The tariff includes breakfast. All rooms have cotton sheets, with Egyptian cotton towels. All bathrooms have heated towel rails, and soap, shampoo, conditioner, lavander handcreams etc, are all complimentary. Luxurious embossed bath robes are standard in all suites.
