of this lovely old Rotorua holiday home. Built for relaxing
vacations, now it is a very comfortable bed and breakfast.
It will seem that the lake belongs just to you, with quiet
nights and still mornings plus an attention to detail that
appears to anticipate your every need. A very happy choice. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, view of the lake and opening on to the big verandah. All facilities are on the ground floor with easy access. Guest rooms are furnished in an uncluttered style with a quality queen bed with 100% pure cotton sheets and a down duvet. Fresh fruit and flowers, robes, hair dryer and other thoughtful items are provided for your comfort. Tea and coffee are available any time and Warwick and Susan will invite you to join them for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap; they aim to make you feel that this is your home away from home. A full English breakfast is served with a different hot course each day of your stay. A four-course dinner with New Zealand wines is available by arrangement for $40 each. Everything except dinner is included in the tariff – only pleasant surprises at The Lake House! “Tahi” is the larger room with a great lake view and opening on to the verandah. The attached bathroom has a shower, WC and basin. Queen room with en suite bathroom $160 double, $130 single. “Rua” is a standard room with a good lake view and opens on to the verandah. The bathroom is along the hall and has a bathtub, WC and basin plus a separate shower room. Queen room with private bathroom $135 double, $105 single.
